Blackwater Tubing (Stormsriver Tubing) is the ultimate adventure experience that derives its name from the colour of the Storms river water. The 'black water' colour is caused by tannin leaching out of plant matter much like tea.

The Storms river water is palatable but its ph is too low to sustain any significant aquatic life resulting in a clear Rocky River bed lined by Palmiet grass and majestic Tsitsikamma trees.
